Diving with Nitrox allows you to safely extend your ‘no-deco’ limits so you can spend more time on the bottom, especially on repetitive scuba dives. You can typically stay down longer and get back in the water sooner. No wonder so many divers choose this as their first PADI speciality!

When you enrol on our Grand Cayman PADI Nitrox course, you will learn:

• Techniques for getting more dive time by using Enriched Air Nitrox
• Enriched air scuba diving equipment considerations
• Enriched air considerations, including managing oxygen exposure
• Enriched air oxygen analysis
• Dive computer use with Enriched Air

And the best thing is, you have the option to complete this course in just half a day as a dry course. You don’t even have to get wet! However, you must have successfully completed a PADI Open Water Diver course. Anyone 12 years old and above can join the course too!

You have three options to earn certification as a PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty Diver:

1. Complete the Nitrox Specialty as a ‘dry’ course. This is just a two- to three-hour theory session. Upon successful completion, you will be certified as a PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver. This option is perfect if you are short on time or are flying home the next morning and cannot dive.
2. Complete the Nitrox Specialty as a ‘wet’ course. This is the same as option one, but with two dives on Nitrox the following morning — making this great value for money!
3. Complete the Nitrox course through PADI eLearning. This is the quickest way to get diving on Nitrox! Complete your eLearning theory through PADI. Then, when you arrive at Red Sail Sports, we will show you how to simply analyse the tanks and log the contents. We’ll then certify you and it’s away you go — you’re a Nitrox diver!
