Day Three: Kittiwake Grand Cayman Snorkel Tour & Banana Boat Ride

It’s a new day, so let’s turn our attention back to some underwater adventure! You simply can’t miss a visit to the USS Kittiwake when you’re in Grand Cayman. This iconic wreck was a former US Navy submarine rescue vessel, but now it rests peacefully on the sandy ocean floor a short distance off Seven Mile Beach. Our USS Kittiwake and Reef Snorkeling Trip in the Cayman Islands is the perfect introductory experience! Swim above the wreck, peer down at its eerie presence, and keep your eyes peeled for the colourful array of marine life that has taken up residence.

In the afternoon, take to the water again — this time above the surface — with a fun-filled Banana Boat Ride at Seven Mile Beach. Grab family or friends, hold on tight, and skim over the waves. This thrilling, fast-paced ride is perfect for families or groups looking for a bit of fun in the sun. And when it’s over, you can spend some leisure time on the renowned Seven Mile Beach. After all, holidays are about relaxing too!

Dinner recommendation: For an authentic Caribbean experience, head to Cayman Cabana in George Town. Perched right on the water, this spot is one of the best places to get a sense of Caymanian cuisine and indulge in farm-fresh local fare.

Day Four: Grand Cayman North Wall Dive & Dinner Sail

Your morning begins with a 2-Tank AM North Wall Dive, where you’ll explore the breathtaking vertical drop of Grand Cayman’s North Wall. Prepare for awe-inspiring views and the potential to encounter a remarkable range of pelagic creatures large and small! This experience involves two dives with a surface interval in between.

On the first dive, one of our guides will show you around a famous North Wall site, exploring at a maximum depth of 100 feet for up to 35 minutes. The second is a buddy team dive, meaning you team up with a chosen partner. This dive lasts for up to 50 minutes and takes place at either a shallow dive site or the top of the wall.

In the evening, unwind aboard our Dinner Cruise departing from the Westin and Seafire Beach. There’s no better way to cap off a day of diving than eating a mouthwatering three-course feast cooked to perfection on our onboard BBQ grill by an expert chef. The calming breeze and gentle sway of the boat set the perfect mood as you enjoy an evening of relaxation and luxury.

Lunch recommendation: Head to the Grand Old House, a true icon of Grand Cayman, for an oceanside lunch with outstanding views of the Caribbean Sea. With its equally impressive wine list and varied menu (including dishes in “Land” and “Sea” categories), this is the perfect spot for a long, indulgent meal.

Day Five: North Sound Eco-Safari & Snorkel Adventures

For your final day in Grand Cayman, get closer to nature with a North Sound Eco-Safari. This incredible excursion stops at three of Grand Cayman’s best and most popular attractions in one convenient tour: the world-famous Stingray City Sandbar, the fascinating Starfish Point, and a teeming coral reef for snorkelling.

If you want to enjoy some more snorkelling, we provide snorkel equipment rental in Grand Cayman! Simply visit us at the Westin on Seven Mile Beach (or Rum Point or Tortuga Divers at Morritt’s if you’re elsewhere) and hire your gear for the day. We also offer weekly rental, so keep this in mind if you’re a keen snorkeller. Check out our guide to the best places to snorkel in the Cayman Islands and head to the spots that interest you the most!

Dinner recommendation: For one final taste of Cayman cuisine, head to Heritage Kitchen in West Bay at the northern end of Seven Mile Beach. Grab some local comfort seafood or some Sunday BBQ, sit on the sea wall, and soak up the friendly, authentic Caribbean atmosphere.
